Gilmore Technical Capabilities: Data Collection

• Design Module - where programming takes place, allows data recalls, rotations, and internal computations. Toggle switch enables one questionnaire to have two language text fields.
• Importation Module -- sample in a variety of formats (ASCII, DBF, Excel) is imported through this module. The module checks for duplicate numbers, and carries out randomization/sort functions. There is no limit to the number of sample fields that can be imported.
• Quotas Module - manage sample by any variable. On-screen sample reports. Data can be drawn into Excel for further analysis.
• Interviewing Module - interviewers access script and manage callbacks. Interviewers read script and enter data in real time. A toggle switch permits switching to Spanish text if necessary.
• Callbacks Module - allows detailed sample management and viewing by attempts, interviewer, disposition, language, or date. Filters check for day, evening, or weekend attempts.
• QPrint Module - questionnaire, or selection, can be printed. Format includes frequencies, percentages, and means. Each base can be checked against the logic and appropriate ranges.
• Browse Module - view aggregate or individual case data. Can cross tabulate any question to confirm base and range. Corrections done directly. Can go into Excel for analysis. Through this module, we can review the history of each piece of sample, the disposition of each call, as well as the date, time, duration and interviewer.

Gilmore Research also uses Voxco Pronto, the predictive dialer that is integrated with Voxco Interviewer CATI. Voxco Pronto allows inbound and outbound dialing campaigns, increasing interviewer efficiency significantly. During outbound campaigns, live respondents are routed to interviewers immediately so that the respondent perceives no delay between answering the phone and hearing an interviewer’s voice. Out of service numbers and answering machines are automatically handled by the dialer so that the interviewers can focus on their job: talking to respondents.

Gilmore Research uses Voxco Interviewer Web for all online surveys. Its web application is scalable and highly intuitive, allowing specialized graphics including video clips. The web version is integrated with the same user interface and data structure as the Interviewer CATI application, ensuring compatibility among modes. Voxco Interviewer Web surveys allow for e-mail invitations, follow-ups to non-responders, customized PINs for security purposes, and completion of interrupted surveys.
